one infographic, the average cost of storing one TB of data is >$3,000 a year.
Many organizations implement WAN acceleration technologies to optimize
bandwidth and improve network speed when transferring files to other locations.
However, in many organizations, email traffic amounts to >1 million exchanges
daily.
Just as a reminder, encouraging our teams to follow practises like these (to the

extent possible), can help organizations manage these costs even more effectively

a) Mentioning file location/link (shared drive/share point etc.), instead of attaching
the file itself in the email
b) Reducing email traffic by identifying “can live without” emails
c) Reducing duplicity/redundancy of emails / email users
d) Using chat options, instead of writing emails
